“It’s not like I like you or nothin’!”
HC: Sasuke likes to hold Naruto’s hand. When they are out in public he always slips his cold, pale hands into Naruto’s tanned, and always warm ones. He doesn’t even care when people stare at them, or whisper things. It makes him feel safe and secure, and Naruto doesn’t mind at all. Even when they were in the comfort of their own homes Sasuke will reach out for Naruto’s hand - whether he’s brushing his teeth, lying in bed, or curled up on the couch with his boyfriend - Sasuke likes to link their fingers together, intertwining them. Not once does Naruto ever pull away, or tell Sasuke he doesn’t want to. He only smiles, and Sasuke feels he might be getting closer to the feeling one called content.
Naruto spent his life chasing after Sasuke. Crying, fighting, training, begging, suffering because and for him. Naruto was apparently so bad at speeches, but was never at loss of words when it came to expressing his devotion to him and longing for him to come back.
The boy could have penned down his heart and soul on paper, sometimes misusing words and mistaking feelings for others. But when he felt something, when he cared truly and deeply, he was the kind of guy to scream it into space until it answered back.
Making him into a dumb guy who couldn’t recognize his love for a girl he barely talked to, trying to make us believe it’s part of who he is, is a disgrace to everything he was wrote down to be. The Naruto from chapter 1 to chapter 699 was so fully aware of what he felt.
